Job Overview Join the American Red Cross North Texas Region as a Videographer in the Communications and Marketing department. The American Red Cross helps people in emergencies every day, whether it's providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran, supporting a military family member, or providing blood to hospitals. Our vital work is made possible by people like you. Placement Purpose : Red Cross Videographers capture and edit video content for use by the American Red Cross on chapter websites, social media feeds, and other content pieces designed to tell the Red Cross story locally and nationally. Open Time Days : Blue Sky opportunities will be provided in advance. On-Call and Red Alert opportunities are available for gray sky operations. Red Cross staff will coordinate with the videographer to determine workable deadlines for both parties on a project-by-project basis. Required Training : Online Orientation to the Red Cross, Public Affairs Essential, and Disaster Public Affairs for National Relief Operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent videography skills and be able to work with the American Red Cross team to create high-quality video content.
