Check out all the ways we share on the Spectrum News Mobile App. In this role, you are responsible for conducting interviews during the story gathering process and gathering all necessary elements for the story. The successful candidate will also be responsible for shooting VO's, SOT's, and putting together story packages. Additionally, the Photographer-Editor will operate cellular-driven transmission/live streaming equipment and communicate with News management regularly, including when out in the field. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that creates compelling, timely, and accurate content to connect with viewers across traditional and digital platforms. Required Qualifications WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS Experience Shooting and editing television news footage experience - 1+ years Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Technical skills: Intermediate level proficiency in appropriate software applications or technology Abilities: Ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but require occasional deviation from accepted practice Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community Schedule: Ability to work different shifts or longer shifts due to "breaking news" and severe weather emergencies.
