Role and Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities
The Associate, Paid Planning & Buying executes day-to-day digital and traditional media planning/buying and client service activities for assigned accounts, with an emphasis on digital media management. Must be a problem solver and professional in all communications inside the agency and with clients. Associates should bring strong interpersonal communication, collaborative spirit, and solution-oriented thinking to deliver strategic support to client work.
Media Planning/Buying
Reviews client media briefs and initiates the planning process
Creates Request for Proposal (RFP) and develops a vendor consideration list to meet brief requirements
Reviews vendor RFPs and filters/compiles the most compelling proposals
Supports development of holistic media plan recommendations that deliver on client media objectives
Supports development of internal or external presentation materials and adapts/finalizes based on feedback
Supports financial management by managing campaign pacing and assisting in monthly billing processes
Collaborates with brand or agency creative teams to outline ad specifications and trafficking instructions to ensure creative is delivered to spec and supports media activation
Coordinates with Analytics and Ad Ops for tagging/reporting requirements
Assists with campaign reporting activities based on agreed client cadence
Compiles and analyzes relevant metrics to optimize media plans and schedules, and to make sound recommendations
Manages campaign execution from start to finish in partnership with the account lead
Supports the needs of direct manager and supporting media team members
External Relationship Management
Assists account lead in maintaining and growing relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
Participates in internal and external client meetings and presentations as needed
Works closely with vendors to develop productive relationships that drive results for clients
Stays ahead of latest innovations and media marketplace trends, sharing experience in a collaborative and consultative manner
Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and Resolute team leads, Finance, and outside vendors
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and project management ability
Media planning and buying experience in one or more of the following: Social Media, programmatic, Digital Video, TV, Radio digital audio, print, OOH, local media
Willingness to explore and execute all forms of media
1 year of experience or relevant internship experience
Compensation and Benefits Salary NYC: $52,400 – $55,000
