Position Summary What you will do in this role includes communicating with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates) and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals. What you’ll do Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office (e.g., benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll) by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives and researching and addressing employment-related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers. Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in the implementation of and ensuring compliance with HR systems/applications, and researching to gather data for HR-related issues. Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards and procedures, and by monitoring compliance, distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others when needed to determine corrective action or recommendations. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; teach, support, model policies and procedures, identify training needs, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Manage and coordinate training for distribution and/or transportation associates (e.g., new hire orientation, modules, web-based training, virtual classroom) by identifying development needs, monitoring training completion, presenting and facilitating training courses, and ensuring schedules and compliance across multiple activities. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identify objectives and measure progress; address opportunities for improvement; promote continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing contributions, and fostering a sense of belonging. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and promoting an Open Door Policy. Benefits and eligibility vary and are subject to change. The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00-$98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: regional pay zone (RPZ) based on location; stock. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years of supervisory experience including 1 year of experience managing human resources processes OR 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Human Resources, Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates, Training and Facilitation, Walmart Logistics Systems Bachelors: Business; Bachelors: Logistics HR professional certifications such as PHR and SPHR are preferred.
