Milwaukee Tool is looking for a communications professional to partner with corporate IT, data, and enterprise software initiatives. Translate complex technical programs into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with audiences across the organization, from frontline users adopting new tools to senior leaders shaping enterprise strategy. Responsibilities Strategic Communications Develop and execute communication strategies for IT rollouts, enterprise software platforms, and data-driven initiatives. Create internal campaigns that support adoption, drive change management, and showcase business impact of technology. Craft clear content including announcements, FAQs, presentations, videos, and intranet stories. Collaboration Partner with IT, Enterprise Data, EPMO, and cross-functional business units to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives. Work with Talent & Culture, Operations, and Marketing to embed tech adoption into broader employee and business engagement programs. Media Relations & Crisis Readiness Support Corporate PR in responding to media inquiries related to enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Prepare key messages, Q&As, and background content for leaders during external interviews. Contribute to crisis communication readiness, ensuring IT/technology disruptions are communicated consistently to internal and external stakeholders. Project & Issues Management Own project timelines and deliverables, ensuring communication milestones are met. Track KPIs to continuously improve communications for IT and enterprise software initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and transparency in messaging. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business administration Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or related field Preferred Skills and Tools Proven project management skills and strong attention to detail Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, especially for simplifying technical topics Prior experience at Milwaukee Tool or strong familiarity with our business, culture, and user-first approach Proficiency in M365, SharePoint, Junglemail, Screencloud, Sprinklr, goHappy and other digital communication platforms Travel: multi-facility travel requirements (2 days Red Tag in Menomonee Falls and 3 days Red Beacon in Downtown Milwaukee) Working Conditions Primarily indoors in an office environment May sit for extended periods; prolonged exposure to computer screens Moderate noise typical of a business office (computers, phones, printers) Benefits Robust health, dental, and vision insurance plans Generous 401(k) savings plan Education assistance On-site wellness, fitness center, and café And more; check the benefits site for details Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
