A Brief Overview
The Training Specialist manage, develop and facilitate training in a variety of types; online, virtual or face to face training for employees at different levels in the organization and participates in other trainings and projects of the Organizational Development Unit. The Training Specialist also develops and deliver FirstBank courses in Learning Management System that create an effective and engaging learning environment that achieve knowledge transfer outcomes. The role involves consulting with SME's from diverse bank areas to identify learning goals, serve as a technical and functional expert, creates courses or customized existing ones, facilitate training and suggest instructional strategies and different delivery modes. The Training Specialist also executes communication, assignment and monitoring procedure to ensure audience complete the established curriculum.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
· Effectively facilitates training to support employee’s development (including onboarding) utilizing best practices in learning for virtual or classroom scenarios.
· Assess units training needs, develops, designs, and edit learning materials, manuals and courses using e-learning tools for a variety of training modalities and languages.
· Manages the content development cycle (from design to deployment) to create learning experiences and environments that engage users to learn including computer-based training (CBT) modules, storyboards and others to achieve learning objectives of the units assign.
· Serve as learning expert and consultant for development and training process for business units and collaborates with subject matter experts to develop course content.
· Perform analysis and works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users. and updates, and refinement of existing online content.
· Identifies and develops new training programs necessary.
· Manages full cycle of course assignments, communication, course completion tracking and reporting for courses under assign responsibility (Regulatory and Others).
· Supports Performance process and other Talent Management initiatives.
· Manages Learning System as administrator (records, create courses and offerings, course assignments, tests, surveys, sort programs, set preferences, etc.).
· Create and maintain procedures and metrics related to unit responsibilities.
· Supports Division and Department in assignments and special projects including performing administrative tasks.
· Participates in the implementation, coordination and follow up of programs or strategies in units Training Plans.
· Implement and manage development programs or activities assigned including but not limited to: Development Plans, Leadership Program, Technical Programs such as Credit Academy, Career Path, Rotations, Coaching program, Mentoring program, Trainee program, Learning Week, Innovation Academy and Onboarding Program.
· Participates in audit processes by gathering and providing information requested.

What You’ll Need
· Bachelor's Degree BS or MS degree in Instructional Design, Industrial Organizational Psychology or Education required or a reasonable combination of experience and education.
· 3 – 5 years of previous experience in instructional design or training design role.
