Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs.
• Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions that evolve and enhance the product experience.
• Navigate the emerging fields of ML, AI and Generative AI to deliver high‑quality design solutions.
• Advocate for a responsible and ethical approach to AI in our product and services.
• Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization and support early product definition.
• Advocate for the customer through human‑centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing.
• Facilitate and participate in workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align with business needs.
• Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specifications.
• Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and market delivery in partnership with engineering.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with a Master’s degree) in User Experience design.
• 2+ years of experience working with generative AI, virtual agents, or similar products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing cross‑channel interfaces (responsive web and native mobile).
• Experience collaborating with AI/ML and Data Science teams.
• Experience with multi‑modal generative AI platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work across design processes: user research, UX design, UI design and specifications.
• Solid knowledge of ML, AI and generative AI systems and capabilities.
• Effective communication and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma) to deliver concepts and enable collaboration across teams.
• Familiarity with working in an established design system and in agile development teams.

Employment

Hybrid role: 2‑3 days on‑site at Palo Alto, CA or Manhattan, NYC.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $109,675.00 - $172,200.00
