Position Summary
The Graphic Designer will create engaging, on-brand visual concepts that support the organization’s business objectives and property-level marketing efforts. In this position, the graphic designer will develop the overall layout and production design for a variety of applications for traditional and digital media.
Responsibilities Display a high level of graphic design expertise and proficiency
Daily responsibilities include the conception, development, and design of a variety of marketing collateral and digital design including, social media images/posts, flyers, brochures, e-mail templates, HTML templates, internal branded templates, internal presentations, website assets, signage and other materials
Managing a high volume of creative service requests, traffic status to ensure deadlines are consistently met
Organize files, photos, and all collateral produced or received
Analyze and plan the framework of design according to the laid-out concept and established specifications of the project
Utilize new techniques and processes to provide quality designs
S olanclude new ways of improving the quality of designs and other project issues
Ensure each community and company brand individuality, excitement, impact, and accuracy in all marketing materials
Review all creative materials before they are finalized to ensure quality control and brand standards are met
Maintain primary contact with advertising vendors, signage vendors and local printers to streamline efficiencies and leverage pricing
Facilitate monthly billing compilation and submission as needed
Brainstorm and provide recommendations on new technology and design capabilities that allow our department to continually push boundaries and support offerings
Occasionally, present the creative direction and graphic design input to clients and internal teams
Translate marketing objectives into creative strategies and designs for properties and the company
Occasionally support other marketing activities during times of heavy workload, group initiatives, meetings, and vacations/leaves of absence
Occasional site/market visits may be needed in times of lease ups and renovation marketing
Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
Proficient in HTML
Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Adobe
Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and InDesign
Edit & color-correct images in Photoshop
Prior experience working in a PC environment
Qualifications Physical Requirements:
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in our Phoenix office 3 days per week.
The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
