Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Light and shoot video content both on set and on location across a variety of visual styles and editorial brands
- Collaborate with producers to determine and execute creative visual direction
- Edit both short‑form and long‑form content for platforms including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Operate various cinema and mirrorless camera systems, including Sony FX3 & FX6, Panasonic Eva1, and GH5
- Set up and run professional audio equipment including boom and lavalier microphones
- Coordinate with internal studio team for gear logistics and scheduling
- Handle basic color grading and audio mixing in post‑production
- Collaborate with a team of cinematographers, assistant camera operators, and production assistants on studio and field shoots
- Adapt to shifting schedules and priorities with flexibility; occasional weekend work and travel required
- Ensure projects align with brand aesthetics while maintaining high production value
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- At least 6 years of professional experience in cinematography and video editing
- Advanced technical expertise in lighting, camera operation, and video editing
- Skilled in lighting techniques including three‑point, seamless, and high/low key setups
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop is a plus
- Strong visual storytelling instincts with an understanding of pacing, tone, and structure
- Experience running small to medium crew shoots, and ability to self‑produce when needed
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
- Must be comfortable lifting and transporting up to 50 lbs of equipment
- Experience working in fashion or editorial environments is a strong plus
- Reel of visual wor (portfolio link in resume) required for consideration
- This role is based in New York with a minimum of three in‑office days per week required. Must be flexible with working hours, including some weekends and travel.

The base salary for this role is between $74,000 - $89,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
