Compensation Range: $60 - $70 per hour

We are looking for a part time Video Engineer skilled in both the live production and technical side to assist with live events and various other projects. The ideal candidates will have extensive broadcast experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage control room operations independently. This person will require technical expertise across cameras, switches, and productions systems. This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 100 hours per month, with an expected 90% on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical side of 10-15 live broadcast events per year.
• Handle the setup, operation, and maintenance of a wide range of broadcast equipment, including cameras, projectors, and switches.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues during live productions to ensure a seamless broadcast.
• Independently manage and oversee studio and control room equipment and systems.
• Analyze technical data and logs to recommend and implement system improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with operating and maintaining professional broadcast equipment.
• Deep proficiency with production systems, including cameras, projectors, and video switches.
• Proven ability to manage control room operations independently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a technical mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a lean, fast-paced team environment.
