We’re looking for a skilled On-Site Podcast Producer to help record professional podcast episodes for our clients in the Bay Area. This role requires someone who knows how to set up, capture, and manage audio/video recordings with confidence and creativity.

You’ll be the go-to person on recording days — ensuring hosts and guests sound amazing, equipment runs flawlessly, and the environment is optimized for a smooth, high-quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate podcast recording equipment (mics, mixers, cameras, lighting).
  • Conduct sound checks and monitor live audio during sessions.
  • Ensure crisp, broadcast-quality sound and well-framed video composition.
  • Troubleshoot tech issues quickly and calmly on-site.
  • Communicate clearly with hosts, guests, and remote production teams.
  • Capture b-roll or behind-the-scenes footage when needed.
  • Transfer and organize recorded files to shared drives post-session.
  • Maintain professionalism and represent the brand with excellence on set.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in podcast, film, or studio production (on-site or in-studio).

  • Reliable, organized, and punctual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions during live recordings.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in multi-camera setups or livestreaming.
  • Knowledge of lighting techniques for interviews or podcast sets.
  • Familiarity with YouTube podcast formats and visual storytelling.
  • Background in client relations or production management.
