Community Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Exempt

COMPENSATION: $68,000 annually + performance bonuses up to 20%

Position Summary

The Community Manager is the top site‑level position at Redstone Residential and is responsible for all aspects of property operation. The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and strives to achieve all operational and financial goals for the property.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on site.
  • Manage the property to the approved operating budget.
  • Oversee the lease‑up of the property.
  • Collect rent and manage delinquency.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to Redstone.
  • Create a positive environment that enhances the experience for residents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus and community resources.
  • Promote outstanding customer service through staff training and on‑going performance evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
  • Manage projects ranging from marketing initiatives to construction projects.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of multifamily or student housing property management experience required.
  • Ability to use and quickly learn technology – Google Apps, Microsoft Office, cloud‑based management, and dashboarding software.
  • Ability to manage projects and multitask several processes under stressful conditions.
  • Experience with Entrata Software or familiarity with PM software is a plus.
  • Detail‑oriented work ethic, experience managing to a budget, and P&L ownership.
  • Team player – able to inspire high performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • “Client‑ready” professional demeanor and presentation. Prior client interface experience required.
