Design Technician – RedBuilt, LLC

We are currently looking for full‑time Design Technicians to join our dynamic team! A Design Technician plays a key role in the design of every product solution and works under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Floor & roof system modeling using Revit software
• Wall system modeling for wood and light gauge steel wall systems using Revit software
• Mass timber system modeling using Revit software
• Detailing
• Floor & roof truss design using proprietary RedBuilt software
• Component design analysis and selection
• Critical communication with customers, architects, engineers, and our team of sales representatives

Qualifications

• Experienced in drafting and modelling software such as Revit
• Excellent at reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Comfortable with the application of basic trigonometry
• Detail oriented and quality focused
• Comfortable and productive using Microsoft Office tools
• Innovative and creative problem solvers
• A team player and great communicator

Alternate Experience

• Framing or construction experience
• Dynamo scripting for Revit
• Experience with other BIM software tools
• Prior experience designing structural systems in wood

Compensation & Location

Salary Range: $22.00–$40.00/hour DOE
