Summary

We are looking for full‑time Design Technicians to play a key role in the design of every product solution. The ideal candidate has a two‑year degree or certificate in Engineering or Architectural Design and is an expert in structural design and RedBuilt products, with excellent communication of product and installation requirements.

Duties

• Floor & roof system modeling using Revit software
• Mass timber system modeling using Revit software
• Detailing
• Floor & roof truss design using proprietary RedBuilt software
• Component design, analysis, and selection
• Critical communication with customers, architects, engineers, and the sales team

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting and modelling using Revit
• Excellent at reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Comfortable with basic trigonometry
• Detail‑oriented and quality‑focused
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Innovative and creative problem solver
• Team player and strong communicator

Helpful Alternate Experience

• Framing or construction experience
• Dynamo scripting for Revit
• Prior experience designing structural systems in wood
