Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of and passion for celebrity and entertainment news.
- Ability to quickly navigate social media to spot breaking news and find information.
- Huge appetite for pageviews driven by quality content.
- Clean, fast digital publishing with an instinct for headline writing and SEO.
- Knowledge of Canva and/or Photoshop.
- Strong multi‑tasking and communication skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Writing multiple articles daily on breaking and trending stories.
- Covering shows and relevant events.
- Identifying traffic‑generating opportunities across celebrity and entertainment topics.
- Collaborating with editors to develop sharp, impactful coverage.
This is a remote freelance role. Compensation scales with performance.
Weekend reporting is a plus.
Cable TV or cable TV streaming is a plus.
