Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of and passion for celebrity and entertainment news.
• Ability to quickly navigate social media to spot breaking news and find information.
• Huge appetite for pageviews driven by quality content.
• Clean, fast digital publishing with an instinct for headline writing and SEO.
• Knowledge of Canva and/or Photoshop.
• Strong multi‑tasking and communication skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Writing multiple articles daily on breaking and trending stories.
• Covering shows and relevant events.
• Identifying traffic‑generating opportunities across celebrity and entertainment topics.
• Collaborating with editors to develop sharp, impactful coverage.

This is a remote freelance role. Compensation scales with performance.

Weekend reporting is a plus.

Cable TV or cable TV streaming is a plus.
