Responsibilities

• Teach a 3/3 course load in composition and rhetoric, including first‑year composition, critical thinking and writing, discipline‑focused writing, and professional writing.
• Develop and deliver course materials, assessments, and grading rubrics.
• Mentor students and support experiential learning initiatives such as student exchanges, study abroad, and community outreach.
• Participate in program meetings, curriculum development, and faculty professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric or a related area.
  • Teaching experience in composition at the university level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest in experiential learning, community‑based outreach, or study abroad.
  • Experience with digital media, AI, or discipline‑specific communication.
