$55.00/hr – $60.00/hr
Job summary
We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented and scientifically literate Medical Claims Fact Checker to ensure accuracy and compliance of medical and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical research, the ability to interpret complex scientific data, and experience validating claims against credible published sources.
Key responsibilities
- Review and fact‑check medical and scientific claims in promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency with referenced sources.
- Research, analyze, and interpret medical and scientific data to validate content accuracy.
- Annotate materials using Adobe Acrobat and prepare documentation to support claims verification.
- Collaborate closely with medical, regulatory, legal, and creative teams to ensure all materials meet internal and external compliance standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing quality and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Experience fact‑checking medical claims against published and credible scientific sources.
- Strong research and analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex medical or scientific data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat annotation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferably in a medical, biological, or chemical science field or equivalent experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical advertising or marketing review environments.
- Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats and/or OPDP submission processes.
- Background or strong working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with medical copyediting or regulatory content review.
