Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS and Python.
  • Code, test, and debug new and/or existing web applications.
  • Implement and refine user interfaces.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing via automated tooling.
  • Collaborate with other team members (internal and external) to ensure optimal performance and usability.
  • Peer review code written by fellow team members.
  • Utilize virtualization technologies like Docker and Podman.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline, plus 8-12 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with modern front-end libraries such as ReactJS and/or Angular, with a minimum of 2 years professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP web requests for fetching JSON data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write well-documented code.
  • Must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Poly.

Nice to Have

  • A genuine passion for creating great user experiences.
  • Experience with writing front-end unit tests.Experience with writing back-end web API services especially Python.
  • Experience coding in other languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
  • Up to date with emerging front-end technologies.

Pay Range

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
