Preferred Student Classification: Must be a Graphic Design Major who has passed the graphic design review.

Nature & Purpose Of Position

The Department of Art is looking for an intern with graphic design experience. Duties:

Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate Virtual Reality applications for education usage. Design and/or model characters, props, and environments.
  • Responsible for keeping the lab in a tour-ready condition.
  • Follow all standard lab work instructions and test methods.
  • Responsible for the care and calibrations of XR software, hardware and equipment.
  • Ensure that all activities are completed in compliance with lean, ethical and regulatory requirements, with regards to IRB for Human Subjects Protection under Nemours.
  • Promotes a safe work environment for self and others.
  • Take the initiative to resolve issues before they become problems.
  • Seek continuous improvement through periodic assessments.
  • Ability to work in a Hybrid environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new software and hardware; all job duties as assigned related to grant‑funded project work.

Other Requirements For The Position

  • Must be full‑time Student.
  • Must have 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on a Mac.
  • Works collaboratively in team environment.
  • Aware of current best practices in creating accessible documents a plus.
