Purpose & Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and creating engaging content for SHSU social media and writing news stories for Today@Sam. Job also includes attending university events and assisting with photo and video projects. Performs other marketing/content-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prefer mass communication major with a public relations or multi-platform journalism emphasis.
• Have writing experience.
• Available to work 10-20 hours per week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., some weekend work for events.
