Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Power Plant Equipment Designer to join its engineering team. This role involves designing, drafting, and maintaining technical drawings for large-scale power plant components, particularly air‑cooled steam condensers and heat exchangers used in power generation and heavy industry. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings for power plant equipment assemblies and components. Create detailed assembly and piece mark drawings for fabrication and installation. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Apply ASME codes and standards to all design work. Support R&D initiatives by contributing to innovative design solutions. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and internal quality protocols. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve product performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in power generation or industrial equipment. Proficiency in AutoCAD , Tekla , MicroStation , or similar 3D modeling software. Strong understanding of geometry, welding practices , and ductwork design. Excellent communication and documentation skills . Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
