Creo Designer Join to apply for the Creo Designer role at Actalent . Special Order Designer to support the ETO (Engineered To Order) Group. Group does knock off of standard products with complexity ranging from seismic considerations, color changes, electrical changes, special coatings, UPS, etc. Job Responsibilities Create or modify design concepts within the Creo environment for air-cooled packaged product. Work with documents, drawings, and bills of material in a variety of formats. Knowledge of manufacturing fabrication and assembly methods. Design part modeling, large assembly modeling, sheet-metal, and piping. Manage data change and version controls. Utilize engineering design tools such as Creo, Windchill, ProjectLink, BOM system, and SharePoint. Demonstrate creativity in new product design and customization. Coordinate design activities with local and offshore engineering teams. Qualifications Three plus years experience in mechanical design and design project management. Fully experienced with Pro/ENGINEER (three years minimum; current Wildfire build). Fully experienced with Windchill (two years minimum). Excellent skill and experience with drafting standards and procedures. Good verbal and written communications skills. Experience with bill of material structure and databases. Experience with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes. Experience with piping design and manufacturing processes. Previous relevant job history experience, especially HVAC product design and/or product sustaining. Some exposure to electro‑mechanical control systems and components. BSME is not needed. An engineer is fine but it’s a designer role. 60% Creo…40% BOMs, documents. 3+ years exp. with CREO, bill of material, Windchill, change management, product customization experience a plus. Education 2‑year referred. 5+ years Creo, Windchill. ETO — special order — customization experience a must. Large manufacturing assembly — heavy industrial — not plastics and consumer products. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Benefits Medical, dental & vision.
