Position: Assistant Professor of the Practice in Music and Technology (full‑time, continuing‑track) at Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, School of Engineering.
Location: Nashville, TN.
Start date: August 16, 2026.
Initial appointment: Three years, renewable, promotion eligible per school and university guidelines.

Responsibilities
Design and teach undergraduate courses for music majors, composition majors, and non‑music majors, focusing on creative use of music technology.
Maintain computer music studio hardware and software, ensuring operational readiness.
Develop curriculum that integrates music technology, DAWs, DSP, synthesis, AI music, coded environments, and notation software.
Engage in scholarly activities consistent with faculty expectations, including artistic production and performance.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in music technology, computer music, or composing for media (preferred); equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Demonstrated background and teaching effectiveness across music technology components.
Strong classroom pedagogy and artistic engagement.
