Are you an experienced Communications and Change Management Manager?

What will your role be? The Communications and Change Management Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication and successful adoption of IT initiatives across the organization. This individual will lead internal communication strategies, ensuring that key information is clearly communicated to all employees, while also driving change management efforts to support IT transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate is skilled in developing communication plans, managing stakeholder engagement, and implementing structured change management.
Activities
Develop and execute internal communication strategies ensuring that the messaging aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
Create engaging content such as emails, newsletters, intranet posts, and presentations that inform and educate employees about current events, changes projects, and new initiatives.
Collaborate with IT leadership and project teams to understand the technical aspects of projects and translate them into clear, concise communications for non-technical audiences.
Establish and maintain an internal communication calendar to manage the timing and frequency of events.
Facilitate internal events such as monthly Town Hall, Annual All Hands and Quarterly Leadership Meetings.
Experience working with Executive Leadership and translating business information into presentations, talking points and providing guidance and support to senior leadership on various initiatives; experience presenting to large crowds including executive leadership and ability to lead and influence.
Manage internal communication platforms, intranet sites, create engaging and visually appealing content, manage internal groups ensuring attendance and knowledge sharing.
Cross-team collaboration to ensure collaboration across departments, ensuring consistent messaging and understanding of initiatives among all stakeholders.
Organize and lead town halls, Q&A sessions, and webinars to communicate updates and gather feedback from employees.
Monitor communication effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and data analytics, adjusting the communication strategy as needed.
Content creation – ability to produce and edit photo, video and other visual content for internal stakeholders.
Lead change management efforts for IT projects, including ERP implementations, digital transformation efforts, system upgrades, and process improvements.
Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during IT projects, focusing on people, processes, and technology.
Implement a structured change management framework (such as ADKAR or Prosci) to manage the people side of change for IT initiatives, driving faster adoption, higher utilization, and greater proficiency in new systems or processes.
Conduct stakeholder analysis and impact assessments to understand the people and teams most affected by IT changes.
Create detailed change plans, including communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and post-implementation support, to drive adoption of IT systems and minimize resistance.
Design and deliver training programs or collaborate with training teams to ensure employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to adopt new IT systems.
Track and report on the progress of change initiatives through KPIs, user feedback, and adoption rates, ensuring the IT team meets the organization’s goals for successful project rollouts.
Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to ensure they effectively lead their teams through change.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to Agile Release Train, fostering self-organization and enabling teams to reach high performance. Facilitate Art Sync, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt and PI Planning sessions.
What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Information Technology, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in internal communications, with a strong background in IT, technology, or related industries.
3+ years of experience in change management, particularly within IT or digital transformation projects.
SAFE Agile Certification
Familiarity with change management methodologies (such as Prosci, ADKAR) and best practices.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple communications and change projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience with change management frameworks and demonstrated ability to drive successful adoption of technology.
Ability to analyze data to measure communication effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
Proficiency in communication tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Gmail platforms, and other internal communication channels.
