About The Role DTI is seeking a
Change and Communications Specialist
to support a major public utility client in San Antonio, TX, undergoing a large-scale business transformation. This role will play a key part in driving organizational readiness, communication effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement for an enterprise-wide ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, strategic communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience managing communications across multiple channels for highly visible initiatives. Must work on our W2. Consultant can expect to be onsite Tues-Thurs every other week. Prefer local resource.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive change management and communication strategies to support ERP and business transformation initiatives.
Create clear, compelling communications (emails, newsletters, intranet content, leadership updates, FAQs, etc.) tailored for diverse internal audiences.
Manage and maintain a detailed communications plan, ensuring alignment with project milestones and stakeholder needs.
Partner with project leadership, HR, and business units to ensure consistent messaging and seamless change adoption.
Support change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement planning, and readiness activities.
Monitor communication effectiveness, collect feedback, and continuously refine the messaging strategy.
Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder sessions to enhance awareness and adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Organizational Change, or related field.
7+ years of experience in change management and communications, preferably supporting ERP or enterprise transformation programs.
Proven success managing large-scale communication plans and executing across multiple channels.
Exceptional writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
Experience working in utilities or adjacent industries (energy, manufacturing, public sector) strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Additional Details
Consultant will be expected to be onsite in San Antonio, TX every other week (Tuesday–Thursday).
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Pay rate $90-$124 depending on experience
