Summary
The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and project execution within the Boca By Design division located at Harborside, HB. This role ensures that all design projects meet quality standards, are completed on time, and align with client expectations and company objectives. The supervisor will lead a team of designers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. They will act as the primary liaison between clients, designers, and upper management to facilitate clear communication and efficient workflow. Ultimately, the role aims to drive the successful delivery of innovative design solutions that enhance the company's reputation and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to: Manage and supervise the design team to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards. Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring their design needs are met. Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, provide feedback, and resolve any issues. Collaborate with other departments to align design initiatives with overall business goals and strategies. Internal Relationships
Reports to Boca By Design Managers, Director of Sales & Operations
External Relationships
Has regular contact with vendors, clients, The Boca Raton associates, club members and hotel guests
Qualifications
Experience working in a fast-paced design studio or agency setting. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent). Familiarity with client relationship management (CRM) systems. Additional training or coursework in leadership or team development. Knowledge of current design trends and industry best practices. Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a design or creative environment. Strong understanding of design principles and project management methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with design software and project management tools.
Physical Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
