About Health and Recovery 88, Inc.

Health and Recovery 88, Inc. is a franchisee of SWTHZ, developing 10 locations across the Cleveland, Ohio area. With studios open in Ohio City and Strongsville and additional openings planned in the coming months, we are seeking Assistant Studio Managers to support daily operations, drive membership growth, and ensure the consistent delivery of an exceptional client and member experience.

Position Summary

The Studio Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the studio. This position directly supports the overall guest experience and upholds SweatHouz’s commitment to excellence in health, wellness, and safety. The Studio Cleaner is responsible for ensuring all studio areas meet or exceed sanitation and appearance standards through consistent, detail-oriented work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a Clean and Organized Studio Environment

  • Ensure all public and staff areas—including the lobby, front desk, and hallways—are clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Remove trash, replenish amenities, and maintain a professional and welcoming appearance throughout the studio.

2. Suite Turnover: Cleaning and Sanitizing Sauna and Shower Areas

  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect sauna suites and showers after each guest session.
  • Sanitize benches, doors, handles, and control panels using approved products.
  • Clean and restock all linens, towels, and amenities including soaps, shampoos, and body wash.
  • Inspect suites for damage or maintenance needs and report issues promptly to management.

3. Laundry Operations

  • Operate washers and dryers, manage laundry loads, and ensure an ongoing supply of clean towels and linens.
  • Sort, wash, and fold towels and compresses according to studio standards.
  • Maintain organization in the laundry area and ensure cold compresses are clean, available, and properly stored.

4. Restroom Cleaning and Restocking

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms regularly, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
  • Refill soap, paper towels, and other restroom supplies as needed.
  • Maintain odor control and report any maintenance or plumbing issues immediately.

5. Efficiency, Autonomy, and Time Management

  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
  • Manage workload effectively during peak studio hours, prioritizing suite turnover and guest areas as needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership in maintaining studio cleanliness standards.

Professionalism and Confidentiality

  • Respect client privacy at all times; conduct cleaning discreetly and professionally.
  • Handle any guest belongings found during cleaning with care and report as necessary.
  • Adhere to all studio policies related to confidentiality, conduct, and proprietary information.

Health, Safety, and Sanitation

  • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer instructions for cleaning products.
  • Use appropriate protective equipment, including gloves and masks, when required.
  • Store chemicals safely and ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety standards.
  • Report any spills, injuries, or safety hazards immediately to management.

Teamwork and Communication

  • Communicate effectively with the Studio Manager and other team members regarding supply levels, maintenance needs, or operational concerns.
  • Support team efforts during high-traffic periods and assist in maintaining a positive, service-oriented environment.
