Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Conducting an activity assessment on patients
- Conducting therapeutic activity groups
- Maintaining the health and safety of patients
- Completing and documenting evaluations of progress and participating in treatment team

- Master's Degree in Art Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy, Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy
- Two (2) years' experience providing Activity Therapy. Prefer minimum of two (2) years in a psychiatric setting with children, adolescents and adult population preferred
- Registered Art Therapist, Certified Music Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist, Registered Physical Therapist or Certified Recreation Therapist Credential required
- Working knowledge of activity therapy programming. Effective oral and written communication skills. Therapeutic Boundaries, Search and Contraband, Risk Management, Infection Control, Common Psychiatric Diagnoses, Fire Safety. Behavioral Management.
