About Our Client

Our client is a nationally recognized general contractor with a strong presence across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Known for their expertise in multifamily and mixed-use developments, they are expanding their team for a ground-up project in the Hampton Roads region.

Job Description

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure project milestones are met
  • Manage subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and daily coordination
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
  • Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and city officials
  • Resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays or cost overruns
  • Lead site meetings and mentor assistant superintendents and field staff

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:
  • 5-10 years of experience in multifamily or commercial construction
  • Proven ability to manage ground-up projects from start to finish
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software
  • OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with local building codes
