Overview Supports the execution of inbound marketing campaigns to attract site traffic, convert that traffic into new leads, and nurture those leads into customers. Manages social media accounts, builds digital audience engagement, and maintains best practices in inbound marketing. Reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager and has no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Develop content for lead and demand generation campaigns, social, and blog posts aimed at driving online visibility, conversions, and user engagement.
Manage and execute marketing automation and email campaigns.
Build landing pages, workflows, and set rules for email list segmentation.
Update website content on computer.org and for all conference clients.
Execute on-page SEO tactics.
Contribute to the editorial calendar for content and the creative production process.
Create shareable content tailored for specific networks to amplify brand reach.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about the company, competitors, and industry.
Collaborate with other marketers to distribute educational and entertaining content supporting marketing goals.
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from social networks and other marketing channels.
Explore new social networks to reach target buyers.
Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
Grow email list organically and through paid channels, avoiding bought or rented lists.
Manage various email campaigns, including templates, calls‑to‑action, and content for all drip campaigns.
Segment lists based on behaviors such as email engagement and website interactions.
Measure results and optimize lead‑nurturing workflows to convert leads into customers.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications.
Work Experience
1–3 years of experience in search engine, digital, or inbound marketing.
Skills and Requirements
Extremely organized with strong prioritization and deadline‑management skills.
Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and moz.com (beginner level).
Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
Proficient in using social media tools to monitor conversations.
Bonus: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and blogging.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of search engine optimization and online marketing.
Familiarity with content creation for digital platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
