Position Overview We’re seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Contractor to work as an independent contractor supporting the marketing efforts across all Canter Companies divisions. The ideal candidate is a multidisciplinary marketer with strong technical skills, design acumen, and the ability to execute high-level strategy and day-to-day deliverables. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership and brand teams to develop high-impact campaigns, enhance brand visibility through SEO and AEO strategies, and ensure consistent, compliant messaging across all marketing channels. Key Responsibilities Digital Advertising: Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms. Graphic Design: Create marketing assets including ads, brochures, social posts, and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite. CRM Reporting & Development: Manage and build CRM workflows, dashboards, and automations in Microsoft Dynamics, Monday, and ActiveCampaign. Web Development: Support updates and enhancements to company websites (WordPress and related platforms). Content Creation: Write and edit copy for blogs, newsletters, landing pages, and social posts aligned with each brand’s voice and compliance requirements. Social Media: Help Marketing Coordinator manage content calendars, posting schedules, and engagement across multiple social channels. Assist with content creation across companies. Video Production: Develop and edit short-form videos for web, ads, and social media. Investor & Client Presentations: Design and produce private equity decks, pitch materials, and executive presentations for Canter Capital and Canter Development. Marketing Automation: Build and refine automated workflows in ActiveCampaign for lead nurturing and client communications. Email Marketing: Assist Marketing Coordinator in content creation and copy for email newsletters for various divisions. Branding: Ensure all creative materials align with each division’s brand guidelines while maintaining overall Canter brand cohesion. Search & Answer Engine Optimization (SEO & AEO): o Conduct keyword research and implement on-page/off-page SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and site visibility. o Optimize content and structured data to increase discoverability on search and AI-driven answer engines. o Analyze and report on SEO/AEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably across real estate, financial services, or property management industries. Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager , and SEO principles . Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Monday.com, ActiveCampaign). Web development familiarity (WordPress, HTML/CSS basics). Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to create compliant and engaging content for both professional and consumer audiences. Proven experience with marketing automation , data analytics, and reporting. Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously. Bonus: Understanding of compliance in financial services and real estate marketing.
