Overview

Business Development Specialist, Communication Solutions – Avon, Ohio. Workdays: Monday - Friday. Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Specialist focused on supporting our ancillary communications products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales strategy for ancillary communication products and solutions.
  • Communicate and deliver key value proposition points to Jenne’s existing and new resellers, inside & outside sales teams.
  • Increase attach rate with current and new resellers.
  • Prospect and identify new reseller partners.
  • Enable and train new and current reseller partners.
  • Understand product road maps and communicate key elements.
  • Understand go-to-market strategies, category trends, and competitive information.
  • Responsible for a minimum of 100 business development calls per week.
  • Track and report activity and KPIs utilizing CRM and other tools.
  • Serve as main point of contact on key products and solutions.
  • Provide expert knowledge and support for Jenne sales teams and resellers.
  • Engage with key resellers using video conferencing, audio conferencing, and trade shows.
  • Establish relationships and regular engagement with multiple vendor sales teams.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 365.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/sales, or 2+ years of relevant product management, sales, or business development.
  • Product background knowledge of telephony, networking, and unified communications is a plus.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess a personal commitment to the success of the sales organization and goals.
  • MS Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PC fluency required.

Travel

  • Up to 10% travel time.

Physical Requirements (in compliance with ADA)

  • Ability to lift 10 lbs.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.
  • This position is essential; the employee must be physically in attendance at their designated workstation during normal business hours at our headquarters or home office location.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
