Job Summary
Assistant Community Manager is responsible for maintaining high-quality operations, resident satisfaction, and financial performance across our multi‑family properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial: maintain delinquency budgets, collect rents, submit A/R reports, assist with purchase orders, handle evictions and utility cut‑offs.
- Marketing & Leasing: collaborate with leasing to achieve occupancy, conduct community tours, answer calls, review advertising, manage leasing and retention.
- Administrative: accept and process service requests, document resident interactions, manage lease contracts, process deposits, keep office open.
- Resident Relations: respond to resident concerns, execute retention programs, distribute notices, inspect community.
- Community Engagement: participate in staff meetings, maintain curb appeal, support teamwork and safety.
- Safety: comply with safety rules, report unsafe conditions, assist emergencies.
- General: perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential/multi‑family property management.
- Knowledge of multi‑family operating systems, Yardi, Microsoft Office, and internet navigation.
- Strong organizational, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently.
- High‑level customer service orientation.
- Detail‑oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week, with possible overtime.
