Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience with residential, multi-family property management.
- Knowledge of multi-family operating systems, multiple PC software packages such as Yardi, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), and familiarity with navigating the Internet.
- Strong organizational, communication (written/oral), and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to change priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and follow through on assignments.
- Deliver high-level customer service skills for interaction with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
- Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, professional, and customer service oriented.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours, with potential overtime.
Areas of Responsibility
- Financial: Maintain budgeted delinquency, review accounts receivable daily, and submit reports as requested; ensure rents and late fees are collected, posted, and deposited daily; submit past resident balances to collections monthly; assist with purchase orders and invoice processing; perform evictions and utility cut-offs; manage collections for delinquency.
- Marketing / Leasing: Work with Community Manager and Leasing Specialist to achieve budgeted occupancy, monitor market conditions, assist in reviews of advertising, welcome prospective residents, conduct community tours when needed, handle incoming calls, and support leasing and resident retention.
- Administrative: Accept service requests, follow up with residents, document conversations and activity in the operating system, execute leases and process move-ins/renewals/notice-to-vacates/move-outs, manage deposit accounting and reports, ensure office standards, and maintain management activity records.
- Resident Relations: Maintain positive customer service, address resident concerns promptly, execute retention programs, distribute notices, and inspect the community as needed.
- Community Engagement: Participate in meetings, support curb appeal, encourage teamwork, and represent the company professionally.
- Safety: Learn and comply with safety rules, report unsafe conditions, follow a safety-first approach, and assist with emergency responses within guidelines.
- General: Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or senior management.
Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
