Role Summary

Associate Photographers are responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using top‑of‑the‑line Matterport Pro 3 cameras, digital cameras, and iPad, they create virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential homes. Photographers serve a core territory, schedule appointments, capture virtual tours and location‑based photography, collaborate with sales, logistics, and management, and work under a Photography Manager remotely.

Responsibilities

• Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints for Homes.com and Apartments.com.
• Create a portfolio of photographs to feature homes and apartments.
• Work with scheduling and dispatch to maximize appointments.
• Communicate with clients, sales, researchers, and management to prioritize tasks.
• Ensure commercial real estate data coverage by photographing properties and identifying missing inventory.
• Follow CoStar safety standards and represent the company professionally.
• Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking up to 8 hrs per day.
• Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 5 lb.
• Repeated hand and arm movements for typing or camera operation.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting.
• Drive outdoors in all seasons and work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Real‑estate photography experience required.
• Professional photography background or recent degree in photography.
• FAA Part 107 Drone Photographer with certification within 30 days of offer.
• Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and communication skills.
• Accurate data capture and entry.
• Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation

Hourly position with performance‑based bonus. Base hourly rate corresponds to an annual salary of $49,000‑$50,000 (equivalent to $50,000 annually). Monthly bonuses are awarded based on performance metrics.
