Role

Associate Photographers capture 3‑D virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, they create marketing assets used to promote residential homes and apartments. Each photographer works a core territory and is assigned appointments to scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras. They also perform residential photography for marketing purposes and support marketing efforts on industry‑leading marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints on Homes.com and Apartments.com.
• Create a portfolio of photographs to showcase homes and apartments with high‑quality photography techniques.
• Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
• Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
• While on commercial assignments, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete real‑estate data coverage, identify new inventory, and photograph missing properties.
• Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
• Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
• Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day; lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds; repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying; ability to work outdoors in all seasons; weekend work on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional photography experience, preferably real‑estate photography.
• Professional photographer experience or a recent degree in photography.
• Drone photographer with FAA Part 107 certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
• Strong time‑management and detail‑oriented skills.
• Accurate data capture and entry capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
• Independent worker in a fast‑paced environment.
• Current and valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranging from $49,000 to $50,000 annually, with opportunities for monthly performance‑based bonuses.
