Mechanical Designer II
to join our growing team. As a Designer, you will play a key role in creating innovative and impactful design solutions that elevate the lives of our users/clients. You will work closely with the project engineer and other team members to translate concepts into compelling and user-friendly designs.
Responsibilities
Proficient in designing and drafting mechanical and plumbing systems including: Ductwork, Piping, Sanitary systems, Domestic water, Medical gas, Compressed air, Natural gas, Water heating systems
Collaborate with engineers to develop and evaluate design concepts
Assess feasibility of design ideas based on safety, function, and serviceability
Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and sketches using Revit software
Develop construction documents and coordinate intermittent submissions
Work closely with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration
Conduct field investigations and site visits
Skilled in determining optimal routing and sizing of systems
High proficiency in computer-aided design tools and software
Salary Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
This is an in-office position with an open concept work environment.
Qualifications
Healthcare Experience Is Required
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and working toward professional licensure (PE) (Preferred)
Experience: 4+ years as a mechanical designer
Computer Skills: Revit, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office Suite, Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D
Travel: up to 10% depending on project
