Purpose:
People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking a Technical Document Writer in the Resource, Requirements and Combat Development department. The role involves assisting the command Requirements Manager with technical writing, development, and implementation plans, acquisition processes, and the POM process to support undersea special operations worldwide for Geographic Combatant Commanders and National interests.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Assist the Requirements Manager and Requirements Officer in technical writing and development, focusing on strategic planning, acquisition processes, and Capability Development Documents.
Review source material for Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) and prepare requirements documents for Navy staffing.
Review source material for Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) Family of Systems and prepare requirements documents.
Review source material for manned undersea platforms such as SEAL Delivery Vehicles, Dry Combat Submersibles, and Dry Deck Shelter, and prepare requirements documents.
Provide monthly status reports on accomplishments, upcoming actions, and obstacles.
Required Skills / Education / Certifications:
Exceptional work ethic, communication skills, and accuracy in technical writing.
Ability to produce clear reports and correspondence.
Strong planning, analysis, and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and related programs.
Top secret security clearance.
Acq 110 certification.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. college.
Minimum Required Experience:
3 years of research, data processing, and analysis experience.
10 years of relevant field experience.
3 years using forecasting and modeling tools, research methods.
Experience working with DOD, USSOCOM, or DON agencies, understanding SOF warfighter skills and employment methods.
Experience with JCIDS or SOFCIDS requirements and POM processes, preferably Navy.
