Marketing Strategist
The Marketing Strategist, IMA Advisors will spearhead marketing efforts across the IMA Advisors portfolio of businesses, including IMA Diligence Services, IMA Private Wealth, IMA Retirement, Syntrinsic.
Overview The Marketing Strategist will develop and execute a unified marketing strategy that differentiates each business line while maintaining consistency under the enterprise (IMA Financial Group) brand. Build and manage the firm’s thought leadership platform, including content strategy (white papers, webinars, newsletters, social media, PR). Partner with leadership to define target markets, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for each line of business.
Responsibilities
Brand Leadership
Build and manage the firm’s thought leadership platform, including content strategy (white papers, webinars, newsletters, social media, PR)
Partner with leadership to define target markets, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for each line of business
Sales Enablement: Develop a deep understanding of IMA Advisors’ target customers, their expectations and needs and create impactful marketing programs to support the sales teams of each business unit
Implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies for institutional prospects
Track ROI and pipeline contribution of marketing efforts with clear KPIs
Regulatory, Compliance & Fiduciary Responsibility: Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure all marketing collateral, digital campaigns, and client communications comply with SEC / FINRA / ERISA advertising rules; Manage approval workflows for marketing materials, disclosures, and performance advertising; Ensure use of testimonials, endorsements, and third-party ratings are compliant under RIA regulations; Stay current on RIA, ERISA, and DOL regulatory guidance impacting marketing activities
Qualifications
8+ years in progressive marketing roles, with preferably at least 5 years working within or supporting a financial advisory business
Experience operating in highly regulated industries, preferably financial services
Extensive experience with tactics in the marketing mix, including hands-on experience with key tooling (Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Experience leading and building content marketing, ABM, digital marketing functions built on data-driven decision-making
Exceptional research and writing skills; proficiency in strategy development and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field

Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000 USD
