Overview
Office Professional III, Music and Curriculum Department, LPS District Office, 260 Day, 8 Hrs/Day. LPS is seeking an Office Professional for the Music and Curriculum departments that will be responsible for providing support to the Supervisor of Music, the teachers and itinerants, and the coordinator assigned to the district music team. Responsibilities
Managing multiple accounts and budgets General ordering and district-wide annual orders Coordinating contracts with outside vendors Scheduling professional learning sessions and workshops Supporting payroll and substitutes Managing digital curriculum and licenses Helping coordinate and organize multiple events Coordinating inventories across the district Supporting mass communication between schools, vendors, and staff Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills
The candidate must be a positive team member with excellent customer service skills who can establish a professional and respectful rapport with students, parents, staff, visitors, and outside vendors. The candidate should demonstrate a dedication to education and be capable of working independently, collaboratively, and creatively. The candidate must also have excellent skills in oral and written communication, word processing, data entry, accounting, filing, and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of Synergy, CORE, Archibus, LPS Professional Learning Online Catalog, SmartFind, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive, Groups), Adobe, Canva, and Zoom is preferred, along with a willingness to become proficient in their use.
