Job Summary
MUST HAVES!!!
Software/Skills: Power BI, SQL, SSMS. 5+ years business intelligence experience, 3-5 years relational databases and dimensional modeling, Agile methodology expertise. The role is a short‑term contract with the goal of migrating Tableau reports into Power BI.
Shift: 8‑5 EST/CST, Monday‑Friday. Remote – requires working EST or CST time zone.
Submit a work sample (pbix or PDF of visuals, model level detail is preferred, redact as needed). Resume: maximum 4 pages.
Responsibilities
Lead execution of features within the Clinical Data Analytics Product Roadmap, developing reporting dashboards for operations and quality professionals.
Design systems and reporting that meet business needs.
Collaborate with Data Engineering to discover, access, and understand relevant data, building datasets using best practices.
Analyze source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements, design suitable data models and document specifications.
Apply efficient development techniques, standards, and guidelines to demonstrate passion for quality and productivity.
Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders, escalating technical and managerial issues and resolving conflicts.
Provide education on navigation of products and reports to stakeholders.
Participate in measurement methodology development, data collection standards, and key performance indicators of quality across the organization.
Solicit feedback, requirements, and root cause analysis from stakeholders to improve information management.
Qualifications
6+ years of BI or analytics experience.
6+ years of Power BI expertise.
3+ years of Tableau experience.
Healthcare experience (Home Care Home Base system, OASIS datasets, etc.).
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related topic – or equivalent business intelligence experience.
Experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse) – a plus.
Ability to perform ad‑hoc analysis in Excel and/or query Azure SQL databases.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
Travel Minimal travel required (approximately 25%).
Compensation $70–$79 per hour.
