HDR . HDR is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer to join the Water Business Group. The successful candidate will work as part of a team on studies, detailed design, and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems. Primary Responsibilities
Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems. Prepare drawings, specifications, analysis, and study reports for water and wastewater systems, including determining appropriate design methods, equipment sizing, selection, and cost estimation. Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications
M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Experience in evaluating, designing, and developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects. Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software. Revit, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD experience. Preference for local candidates. EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months; candidates hired without their EIT will be titled "Water/Wastewater Designer" and expected to obtain EIT for career progression. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Interest or experience in designing water/wastewater treatment facilities. Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to our employee-owned culture.
