The Kind Of Work You’ll Be Doing
Provide leadership to the team as a coach. Develop and foster spiritual growth in oneself and the team.
Convene organizational writers and editors for training, recruitment and contribution to larger strategic organizational campaigns.
Manage and perform digital editorial activities including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the content on Cru's sites.
Create and implement training programs for content creators throughout the organization
Establish systems and processes to build a wide network of content creators across the organization
Provide consultation to external stakeholders on content work as needed, and develop and execute editorial projects for external audiences.
Generate and provide content that will motivate and engage users on Cru digital platforms, encouraging them to utilize these resources for information and/or decision-making
Optimize content for digital marketing to reach the target audience in each campaign.
Contribute to and evaluate the success of media campaigns, reporting results to Cru leadership regularly.
Compile, maintain, and track the assigned budget.
Use sound leadership practices such as strategic planning, project management, cost containment, cost benefit, quality assurance and staff productivity.
Build strong and empowered teams by providing direction, delegation, counsel, mentoring and expertise to individual team leads, while retaining overall responsibility and accountability for results.

Experience And Skills
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
At least 5-7 years of related experience in communications, journalism, writing and editing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In addition, must have leadership/managerial experience of a mid-size team. Experience with Cru is preferred.
