The Kind Of Work Youll Be Doing
- Operate professional editing software to execute production responsibilities including, but not limited to, video editing, recording engineering, and mastering/mixing.
- Edit and produce raw video into finished radio programs, podcasts, and special projects.
- Participate in pre-production planning including, but not limited to, setting the vision, giving influential ideas, collaborating with teammates in such a way which sets projects in motion to achieve maximum impact.
- Capture and produce/edit videos using professional video editing software for a variety of delivery platforms (e.g., social media, web, mobile, livestream, donor events, email campaigns, etc.).
- Review, edit, sharpen and refine multi-guest spoken word recorded interviews.
- Contribute to other special production efforts, e.g., Weekend To Remember, promotional content creation and production, or other video-intensive post production efforts large and small.
- Track details through the production process to ensure that all files are correctly labeled and managed.
- Execute all phases of content creation, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Set vision for recording studios, including setting lights, positioning cameras, making decisions about the studio space, collaborating with systems engineer on gear choices (both regular occurring purchases and capital requests).
- Manage capacity for departmental video priorities and balance those with requests from those outside the department.
- Collaborate with a team of peers and/or contributors to accomplish the following: agreement with and positive affirmation of the theological principles expressed in organizational core documents.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in media production or editing, or 3 years of experience in related field
