Overview This position supports the development of design documents and details as necessary and assigned by the Design Project Manager. The Design Production Coordinator works closely with the internal Design Team as well as third party architects to provide design details and drawings that will facilitate final Construction Drawings. This position will also interface with key internal partners such as Retail Ops, Restaurant Ops, Visual Merchandising, IT and LP.

Responsibilities

Support Design Team as necessary with

The development of drawings, design details and production level documentation for new stores & restaurants, remodel stores and restaurant capital projects.

Research and analyze materials, finishes and design elements

Drawings/documentation for new fixture requests as necessary

Assist with third-party architects as necessary/assigned to facilitate documentation at each phase.

Partner with internal and external partners, including:

Retail & Restaurant Operations partners

Visual Merchandising

IT and Security

Construction

External Consultants

Architect

Schematic Design

Develops space plans/test fits to determine feasibility for each location by adapting prototype for each business category's physical requirements in compliance with building/safety code guidelines

Ensures all design details meet TB brand standards and maximizes the guest experience

Design Development

Interacts and provides guidance and feedback to external architects on assigned aspects of the project to meet Design Development Calendar process and due dates

Continue development of approved drawings with buy in from retail, restaurant, and Marlin Bar management as necessary/assigned

Review assigned drawings on a timely basis to ensure deadlines and deliverables meet the Design Development Calendar phases and due dates

Assists with the materials & finishes review and selection processes

Partners and guides as assigned with TB Construction & external Construction Services to ensure sourcing/selection of products/materials & finishes meet design criteria and brand standards

Project Management

Responsible for deadlines and deliverables to facilitate the development of budgets, schedules the project calendar and budget/expenses to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget where assigned

Partner with the Construction team to deliver DD and CD sets on a timely basis and to work with the architect to obtain all necessary permits

Assist Design Project Manager (Store Design) with tasks during construction phase to execute design according to documents and stakeholder needs

Weekly project reviews/conference calls

Address and resolve site challenges/issues timely and cost effectively

Perform other duties as needed to help support the overall business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture preferred.

Generally, 4+ years of relevant experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites; efficient in AutoCAD and 3D rendering programs (e.g., SketchUp).

Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines, meet deadlines and work independently.

Organized with excellent oral/written communication, presentation skills and a high standard for details of design issues.

Ability to develop partnerships, collaborate and manage outward needs and expectations.

Familiarity with construction documents and current working knowledge of building & health codes and compliance.

Ability to manage outside architectural, MEP and other design consultants.

Ability to manage design team, provide direction, education and insight to design development.

Current knowledge of industry trends in retail store and restaurant design.

Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives to create exceptional store environments.

Ability to translate stated design principles/objectives into unique and varied store locations.

Physical Requirements

Ability to occasionally lift and move up to approximately 50 lbs.

Frequently able to bend/stoop/kneel as required

Ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time

Compensation and Benefits Rate Range:

$78,000.00 to $105,900.00 Annually
