HDR is seeking a Structural Designer/EIT to support our Building Engineering Services team on-site in Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC. In the role of Structural Designer/EIT, we'll count on you to: Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed Perform other engineering tasks as needed (construction phase services: site visits, shop drawing reviews; development of calculation packages; coordination of design efforts with other disciplines, etc.) Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Structural Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Local candidates preferred. Required Qualifications
