Overview
About the Position The Development & Marketing Coordinator provides donor stewardship and relationship building, effective social media communication and accurate record keeping by way of administrative support, playing a key role in the success of several departments. This is a highly collaborative role – working across departments to sustain and grow donor, supporter and community partner engagement. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position with an annual salary of $57,000 with regular opportunities for review and enhancement. While this position is currently remote, the final candidate’s primary residence must be within the state of Arizona. About the Organization

You’re an organization powerhouse who thrives on seeing your work affect the big picture. You have experience in development, communications or grantmaking administrative support and a track record of stellar communication. You know how to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects across departments, and you have strong attention to detail. You know that no one is perfect and you learn from your mistakes. You believe in equity, community and the power of administrative support to be the bedrock of community-changing work. As WFSA’s coordinator across several departments, you’re ready to use your strong relationship, Microsoft Office and time management skills to oversee critical functions and processes related to development, marketing and community impact. You bring at least 2 years of experience in development, communications or grantmaking administrative support. You have successfully demonstrated your ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects across departments, utilizing outstanding organization and communication. You have expertise with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge donor database platform and experience with Microsoft Office, including Teams, and Zoom. You have honed your customer service and relationship skills, developing an ability to interact effectively and empathetically and build rapport with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. You have experience handling a robust social media schedule across multiple platforms and you have either crafted content before or would love to learn about it. You have experience creating email newsletters; Mailchimp experience a plus! You have the ability to take initiative, make judgements and creatively problem solve. You are tech-comfortable, remote-savvy and able to manage your time and tasks independently. You have a commitment to equity and cultural competence across lines of race, gender, identity and lived experience.
