Barobo is in a high‑growth stage and is seeking a K‑12 Math Content Specialist, to be based at our main office in Davis, CA. In this role you will help drive the adoption of Barobo’s innovative “RoboBlocky Math” curriculum throughout California and beyond by promoting RoboBlocky Math to schools and districts, developing relationships with district leaders and stakeholders, delivering compelling presentations, and supporting the successful adoption and use of the curriculum.
NOTE: This is not a remote position. Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance of Davis, California, where Barobo’s main office is located, or be willing to relocate. Responsibilities
Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and presentations for K–12 math educators, instructional leaders, and decision‑makers
Present product solutions to school and district stakeholders, focusing on instructional value and standards alignment
Develop relationships with district administrators, math directors, STEM directors, and principals
Provide expert insights on how Barobo’s math curriculum addresses diverse instructional needs, including differentiation, equity, and assessment
Maintain deep knowledge of Barobo’s curriculum offerings and how they align with national and state standards
Provide professional development for teachers
Offer input on product development based on educator feedback, market trends, and teaching experience
Assist in providing support for schools and school districts using Barobo curriculum and products
Perform other related duties as assigned in a team environment
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience teaching math at the middle school or high school level
Experience conducting professional development for teachers
Excellent and engaging presentation skills
Be a fast learner and self‑starter who is comfortable taking initiative and can run with ideas and projects
Excited to be in an entrepreneurial role on the growth of a business with a huge societal impact
Available for travel
Bachelor’s degree in math, computer science, engineering, or related field
Possess US work authorization
Barobo offers a competitive package including base salary, 401(k) with company match, and health, dental, and vision insurance
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full‑time position is $70,000 to $110,000. An individual’s base salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
