Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic
SEO Specialist
to lead SEO projects within our global digital ecosystem. This role ensures our websites are search and AI generative engine‑friendly, scalable, and aligned with SEO & GEO best practices across multiple sites, regions, and business units. The candidate will present SEO requirements and recommendations to developers and business unit partners, scope and execute SEO improvement projects, and consult and educate diverse audiences about the benefits and strategy behind SEO & GEO.
What You Will Do Collaboration & Integration
Partner with web development, UX, and business partners to integrate SEO into site builds, migrations, maintenance, redesigns, and retirement.
Work with a variety of business partners to identify and explain SEO & GEO strategies, execute keyword research and competitive analysis, execute content initiatives, and deliver actionable insights.
Monitoring & Reporting
Leverage SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, Oncrawl, Siteimprove) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.) for insights and monitoring.
Monitor site health, crawl stats, and index coverage via Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
Create dashboards and reports to communicate performance and opportunities to the team and stakeholders.
Technical SEO
Develop and provide requirements and recommendations for enterprise‑level technical SEO & GEO strategies across global web properties.
Lead site audits and/or leverage third‑party site audits to identify crawl, indexation, and performance issues and act on recommendations.
Manage the requirements, testing, validation, and implementation of redirects, partnering with business partners and development teams.
Consult and provide requirements for testing and validation of robots.txt files, canonical URLs, XML sitemaps, hreflang implementation, and other technical SEO needs.
Consult and provide requirements and recommendations for site architecture, internal linking, and URL structures.
Ensure compliance with Core Web Vitals and mobile‑first indexing.
Troubleshoot technical SEO issues, identify solutions, and provide impact reports, sometimes at a quick pace.
Innovation & Governance
Stay ahead of algorithm updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends, including the impact and evolution of AI.
Develop and enforce SEO governance, standards, and documentation.
Provide SEO & GEO training & education to applicable audiences.
Considerations For Top Candidates
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, IT, Data Analysis, or related field.
Experience in SEO, preferably in a large enterprise and/or global environment across a highly matrixed organization with cross‑functional teams.
Experience leading through influence across different levels of the organization.
Experience with international SEO, hreflang implementation, and multilingual site structures.
Ability to simplify and explain complex topics to non‑SEO/GEO audiences.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management skills.
Technical Qualifications
Deep understanding of enterprise‑level analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Tableau, Looker Studio, APIs, BigQuery, etc.).
Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Oncrawl, BrightEdge, Siteimprove, SEMrush).
Understanding of web performance tools (e.g., Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights).
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, eCommerce, Product Information Management (PIM)).
