Job Description
Required Skills:
Media DevOps: Strong background in managing and debugging video and video streams, particularly those captured from medical devices.
AWS Media Services: Hands-on experience with services like AWS Elemental and AWS Kinesis.
Video Formats & Timestamps: Deep knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and working with video timestamps, especially in a low-latency, real-time environment.
AWS Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, ECS, etc.).
DevOps Practices: Deep understanding of continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and automation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native applications.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
System Design: Proven ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant systems in the AWS cloud.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
Lead the migration and optimization of AWS infrastructure, with a specific focus on the media delivery pipeline that handles video and data streams from medical devices.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated workflows for media and microservices.
Implement and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage AWS resources.
Ensure the security, performance, and compliance of the cloud environment, with particular attention to AWS Media Services and video data captured from surgical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and DevOps issues, ensuring high availability and resilience for live video and data streams from medical devices.
Contribute to the architecture of the cloud infrastructure on AWS, enabling seamless data flow and system scalability across microservices and media components.
